Exciting News from EUSAIR: Join the EUSAIR Youth Council!

Dear EUSAIR friends,
We are thrilled to announce the soon-to-be-established EUSAIR Youth Council, a groundbreaking initiative designed to amplify the voices and perspectives of young people across the Adriatic-Ionian region. This Council aims to integrate youth insights into EUSAIR, ensuring that the future of our region reflects the aspirations and needs of its younger generation.
The EUSAIR Youth Council, composed of young people ages 18 to 29, will serve
as an independent advisory body, bringing fresh, innovative ideas directly to
the EUSAIR governance structures.
Creating the EUSAIR Youth Council
The initiative to establish the EUSAIR Youth Council marks a significant
commitment to ensure active youth participation and representation in EUSAIR
activities. The process also actively involved the youth, as it integrated
insights from the EUSAIR Youth Consultation, which gathered inputs from the
EUSAIR participating countries.
How to get involved?
EUSAIR is looking for young, active individuals to become part of an empowered and motivated group of young people who can drive change and introduce innovative solutions to the challenges the region faces, to shape the future of EUSAIR.
The Call for application is now OPEN from April 15, until May 27, 2024, 17.00 (CET).

Knjižnica bo med 24. aprilom in 3. majem 2024 zaprta. Knjige lahko vrnete v
trezor, ki se nahaja pred vhodom v knjižnico v 3. nadstropju.
The
library will be closed between April 24 and May 3, 2024. You can return the
books in the safe located in front of the library's entrance on the 3rd
floor.
We would like to inform you that our Association of Universities of the Adriatic Ionian Region (UniAdrion), together with the Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce (Forum AIC), is promoting again Western-BALKANship project, the internship opportunity for students belonging to the UniAdrion Universities network.
We would like to remind you that this initiative gives the opportunity to UniAdrion University students to carry out a 3-month internship in selected companies in the Adriatic-Ionian area and aims at promoting cross-border cooperation, so that Italian students could go to the Balkans and vice versa. The internships will be fully financed through scholarships provided directly to the students, who will be covered by civil liability and work accident insurance.
We kindly ask you to continue to promote and disseminate
this opportunity among students at your universities. We also share with you the
call
for applications with all the necessary information. Please note that the
deadline to apply has been extended to May 31st 2024.

Apply for our two-week English Language Summer School "Shaping Sustainability
in Industrial Heritage" in Berlin in August 2024.
The application portal will
be open from 20 March, Admissions will take place on a rolling basis from April
5 until all places are filled.
The second European Industrial Heritage Summer School is organized by the
European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH), the School of Culture
and
Design at the HTW Berlin and the Berlin Center for Industrial Heritage.

We are looking for you!
We are looking for fresh and diverse
perspectives on industrial heritage and sustainability.
Are you studying:
museum studies, cultural studies, history/public history, industrial
archaeology, culture and tourism management, architecture and urban planning,
heritage conservation, sustainability studies or communication design or a
related subject? Then you'll fit right in and enrich the Summer School with your
interdisciplinary perspective on the urgently needed link between industrial
heritage and sustainability.
Why industrial heritage in Berlin?
Industrial development was and is a
decisive driving force for the development of Berlin. Technical and scientific
progress as well as new
forms of work make prosperity possible. At the same
time, they are often closely linked to the exploitation of people, nature and
global resources. That's why we're taking a look at the connection between
industrial culture and sustainability together with you.
How can sustainability become effective in industrial
heritage?
Sustainable educational work, re-use of industrial sites
(preservation of historical monuments is climate protection), new blood in
cultural volunteering and soft tourism are just a few of the project fields in
which we will be active.
What do you get out of it?
You will acquire new skills in intercultural
communication and working methods. Together with the other Summer School
participants, you will develop your own concepts that can be implemented in
projects. After the Summer School, you will also have the opportunity to join a
new
pan-European Young Professional Network of the European Route of
Industrial Heritage.
How does the application process work?
The application runs via the
mobility portal of HTW Berlin. The application is open from 20 March 2024. The

will receive an email with your login information and can complete your
application. The
application form has to be filled out online. Please have

What does the Summer School cost?
All accepted applicants receive a
scholarship from the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH), which
drastically reduces the participation fee. For a fortnight in Berlin including
accommodation, costs for self-catering, ticket for public transport, cultural
program and materials you have to pay 360 €.

University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak (Bosnia and Herzegovina) together with Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences (Republic of Croatia) is organizing the 5th International Student Conference under the title "Green Sustainable Future".
We invite all interested students (bacchelor, master degree or PhD) to participate in this conference, demonstrate their research skills, and present their observations, ideas, opinions and knowledge results with colleagues from other institutions.
This year, the student conference will be held 17.5.2024 in Bjelovar.
Participation in the student conference is free. The conference will be in a
hybrid format, live and online (via ZOOM platform). All presented papers will be
published in full in the Conference Proceedings. The official languages of the
conference are Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian/English.

Spoštovani študenti!
Zaradi velikega povpraševanja se bo predmet Slovenski
jezik kot drugi/tuji jezik B1, ki je za študente UP brezplačen, izvajal
tudi v spomladanskem semestru.
Pogoj za obiskovanje predmeta je uspešno
opravljen izpit na ravni A2.
Predavanja bodo ob petkih od 16.30 do 19.45 v
Levantu 1 na UP FHŠ.

Why not do your work placement abroad by the beach on one of the most

Corfu, Greece, and it’s the ideal setting for your summer internship in 2024.
It’s a small hotel with approximately 50 rooms available during the summer.
Bella Vista accepts students from a wide range of different
fields. While international hospitality internships and/or management programs
are the most common, we open our arms to students looking for marketing
internships, graphic design internships, art internships, and even creative
writing internships.
The Different Types of Internships

Even though we favour hospitality, management and those looking for
travel and tourism internships, we accept students for the following roles:

• Art internship (suits creative students who are studying a
related field and enjoy drawing, painting, illustrating, photography,
architecture, filmmaking, or design, among other things)

internship (suits dancers looking for dance jobs abroad to work with the social
media marketing interns to help us go VIRAL)

Veleposlaništvo Republike Slovenije v Berlinu in Slovenski kulturni center SKICA Berlin ponujata možnost opravljanja Erasmus+ študijske prakse študentom slovenskih univerz.
Pogoji za opravljanje Erasmus+ prakse na veleposlaništvu in/ali v kulturnem
centru so:
- možnost pridobitve Erasmus+ štipendije za študentsko prakso
- opravljeno varnostno preverjanje skladno s 16.a členom Zakona o zunanjih
zadevah
- znanje nemškega jezika
- znanje drugih tujih jezikov je

Kratek opis delovnih nalog:

sodelovanje pri dejavnostih Veleposlaništva in Slovenskega kulturnega centra

omrežjih
